Last Thursday, November 3rd, our crew had the amazing opportunity to be a part of the very first “Fusion Faceoff” cooking competition hosted by the Dawson Creek Co-Op Food Store. The competition was made up of two teams of students from the Northern Lights College Culinary Program competing with their delicious dishes. The students had to wow not only a panel of four judges including Canadian chef, Dale Mckay, winner of the first season of Top Chef Canada in 2011, but also had to prepare 21 extra dishes to feed the VIP guests!

Both ‘Team Blue’ and ‘Team Red’ worked hard to prepare their dishes with skill and precision for the five-hour competition. In the end, Team Blue was awarded with the title of winner along with some beautiful plaques.
